 What is automated collection?

Automated collection is a system where trash is placed in the cart then emptied using a mechanical arm on the collection vehicle, instead of workers lifting and emptying cans by hand. C. Martin Trucking’s automated collection service will be picked up by one single driver per truck.

How will it work?

Each home will be supplied with our signature C. Martin Trucking cart.
We ask that you set your cart out the night before your collection day. Residents must ensure that the carts are set out in their proper location curbside and accessible by the new automated vehicle. Complete conversion of our customer base will span over a three year process.

Why change from the existing manual system?
